WILLIAM CROZIER

The property now owned by Bruce Riley was bought by William around the year 1872, he was the son of John and Jane (Bernard) Crozier of Malpeque.

married Sarah Donald, Sea View, they had four daughters and one son. Laura Crozier married Joseph Davison, Long River, Maggie married Chester Simpson, two other daughters died quite young, Frank died in 1973 in Salem, Oregon. They built their home when they settled there, William’s brother Robert, Wendell Crozier’s grandfather a carpenter did the building.

I William died in 1912 and his wife died in 1924. ,

DAVISON JOSEPH

Joseph Davison married Laura and moved to BAltic in 1909, their family were, Earl enlisted with the 6th Siege Battery and died of wounds in 1918. Lily, a nurse married Roy Cudmore, Ruby a nurse married Gordon Warren, The Maritime Gardener, Waldon married Vera Picketts, and Ruth married Horace Glover. The Davison family moved to Kensington in May 1925 and sold the property to Hartwell Crozier.

CROZIER

William Hartwell Crozier (1862-1939) and his wife Maria MacLeod (1871-1932) daughter of Johanan MacLeod New London moved from Lower Darnley to Baltic in 1925 and purchased the Joseph Davison prOperty and resided there with their four adopted children, John, Phillip, Margaret and Mary. Maria died in 1932. Hartwell sold the property to Bruce Riley in 1937' and travelled the Maritime Provinces with The Canadian Bible Society. He died in 1939. John married Emily Simmons (mentioned elsewhere).

Phillip married Beatrice Caseley, he served overseas in World War II and was killed in Action. ' '

Margaret married James Champion and resides in Darnley, Mary married Arthur Wall lived at one time on the Crozier Road and later in Darnley.

CROZIER

John (Jack) Crozier, adopted son of Hartwell and Maria Crozier, married Emily Simmons and farmed the Alonzo Cameron Farm on the Old
