and recall the draw well, the surrey with the fringe on top, the single plow, the gates leading home, and our ancestors with the long whiskers; there was humour and sadness but in the midst of a troubled world, "it was a good time to be around.'' In the final analysis the Delaneys were a restless and unsettled breed, not unlike our youth of today, searching the horizon for their own identity. The Delaneys leave no monument of wealth or influence but perhaps will be remembered as simple folk with a strong commitment to Christian ideals, ideals that are being changed today by a restive and confused society. By looking at the past we find many the solace and encouragement to face the problems of the future. Rev.
