JOSEPH G. CAMPBELL
Joseph G. Campbell was born March 19, 1893, the son of John W. Campbell and Katherine Mary Campbell. He was educated in Cumberland Hill School.
First elected to the P.E.l. Legislature in 1947, he was appointed Minister
Without Portfolio in 1949. Mr. Campbell was re-elected in 1955 and was a can- didate in 1951 and 1959.
Married to Janet (MacDonald) of Little Pond. They had no children and lived in Poplar Point. He last resided in the Senior Citizen's Units in Montague
until his death in 1974. ARTHUR J. MACDONALD
Arthur J. MacDonald was born August 24, 1931 at Little Pond, the son of Vincent and Jessie (Nickerson) MacDonald. He was educated in Little Pond, St. Peter’s High School, and St. Dunstan’s.
First elected in 1962, Mr. MacDonald was a candidate in 1966. He was re-elected in 1970, 1974, 1978, and 1979. He has been Minister of Tourism and Environment, Acting Minister of Public Works and Highways, Provincial Secretary, and Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly.
A farmer, Mr. MacDonald resides in Little Pond. Married to Mary Ellen (Walker) of St. Georges , they have seven children.
