Royal, and one son, Earl residing in Cambridge . HUMPHREY G. BROWN On 26 Nov. 1867 David Cook leased 50 acres of land and mill privileges at or near Wall's Bridge to Humphrey G. Brown . It is assumed that there was a dam and saw milling operation at this location. Six years later, Humphrey Brown transferred the 999 year lease to officially on 30 Apr. 1873. Humphrey G. Brown was listed in the census as a miller, no records on his family are available. BLAIR BUELL The house where it is believed the first Post Office in Freetown was located, is now owned by Blair Buell . This property, which included a farm of 175 acres, was owned by the Crosbys and sold to Robert Boughton Auld (code 70). Included in Buell's holding is a block of land that includes the wooded area north and west of the house. The balance of the farm is now owned by Robert D. Schurman . He lived in Freetown and resided in the former R.B. Auld home in the . He moved to Berwick, N.S. for one year, then returned to P.E.I , and taught in Summerside for two years, and in Ellerslie for two years, before moving to Sackville, N.B. where he still resides in 1984. Stuart trained in Canada for active service in the Korean War in 1950. Stuart was b. 18 June 1929 in River Hebert , N.S. the son of Arthur and Delma (Arsenault) Burbine . He m. Charlotte Hartling the daughter of Raymond and Florence (Byers) Hartling of Malagash, N.S. She was b. 13 Sept. 1938.
