due to the wet conditions and the nature of the soil, the building could not be moved any further than approximately a half mile from its original position, near the shore ofthe Dunk River. Although this house has been modified at different times, the original structure still exists. This home in 1985 is occupied by Robert E. Burns. Stewart Burns represented the fourth district of Prince County, in the Legislative Council, for the Conservative Government of P.E.I., where he served for eight years. He was also a Justice of the Peace in Prince County. He was a deacon in the Baptist Church and the Superintendent of the Sunday School.
