She was b. 17 Aug. 1841; d. 22 Jan. 1924. Alexander had a farm (code 60) next to his brother James, bordering on the main Freetown road and the . After his death, Susannah sold the land to Jonah Lewis . The farm machinery and livestock was sold by public auction. (See Reeves history.) RENA BURT Rena (Holmes) Burt came to Freetown around 1949 and was employed as a housekeeper at the home of Everett T. Schurman . She remained there for several years where she was faithful and well respected. Her husband, Everett was a blacksmith and a fisherman. They were residents of Malpeque . He was lost at sea in 1935. Rena was b. 1899 and d. 1975. They had four ch.: Amon who m. Hazel Barrett , Jean who m. Eric Thompson , Evelyn m. Bernard Shields and Louise m. William Maclntyre .
