Rev. Daniel P. b. 1877. Father Daniel attended school in Freetown. He taught school in Freetown and was ordained a Priest in Rome, Italy in 1908. He served as parish priest at several parishes in P.E.I., as well as being a professor and rector at St. Dunstan’s University.

George Emmett (twin) b. 1881. He m. Mayme Donnelly in 1914 and had one daughter. They farmed in Cape Traverse, and sold the farm in 1944.

Joseph (twin) b. 1881. He (1. 1881 at 4 months of age.

Cornelius T. (Neil) b. 1883. He m. Jane Hammill in 1915. They have four sons and five daughters. One daughter was Sister Cornelia.

Clara H. b. 1887. She was a registered nurse. She m. James Joseph Flanagan of New York in 1939.

+ 2c Barnaby Croken

In 1902, Barnaby Croken obtained possession of two blocks of land. One was 50 acres from his father

James Croken, and the other was 60 acres from David Reeves (code 30 and 88). He also owned 25 acres of the “Little Paddy” farm that was adjacent (code 29). The buildings are located on code 30. It was on this farm that Barnaby resided all his life and raised his family of five children.

2c Harold b. 29 Sept. 1907. He attended public school in Freetown. He attended St. Dunstans University for about one year and returned to the farm. The next year he returned to university and studied for the priesthood. He was ordained a priest at St. Malachy Church, Kinkora, in 1934 along with two other men. He held several pastorates in various charges of P.E.I. His last charge was at Corran Ban and he is now retired and living in Charlottetown.

2c George b. 7 Nov. 1915. He in. Marie Reid of Hope River in 1950. She was b. 22 Oct. 1919. They have four children.

2c Joseph b. 6 Apr. 1918. He m. Mabel Sullivan, Clinton, 3 Oct. 1945. She was b. 25 Nov. 1919. In 1942, Barnaby bought 100 acres of land in Springfield, lot 67 for Joseph, who resides on it in 1985. They have five children: 1. Marlene b. 1 July 1946, she m. Francis Mooney, Rollo Bay, they have two children: Michelle b. 10 May 1974, Treena Ann b. 5 Sept. 1980. 2. Joanne b. 16 July 1947. She m. Bertram Murnaghan 22 Aug. 1970. They have four children: (a) Kent b. 7 Nov. 1971, (b) Jason b. 2 Mar. 1973, (c) Jodi Lynn b. 3 May 1978 and (d) Kevin b. 7 May 1979. 3. Alvin b. 16 June 1950. He m. Catherine McEachern. They live at home and have two children: Bethany b. 9 Sept. 1978, Aaron b. 11 Jan. 1982.
