Joshua’s wife was Elizabeth and she was b. ca. 1835. Joshua was b. ca. 1820. They had eight children: Isabell, Samuel, Sarah 3., Catherine, Ann, John, Laurence M., Ralph C. and Amanda T.

THOMAS CURLEY Thomas Curley was b. in Kileevin, County Monaghan, Ireland, in 1814. He m. Bridget Greenan of the same place.

They immigrated to Canada ca. 1846 and settled in Freetown on 50 acres on the north side of the Main

Freetown Road (code 31). He also owned two additional tracts of land, 84 acres (code 85), and 40 acres (code 87). The property (code 31) was the home place and remains in the Curley family until the present time. It is now owned by Patrick “Pat” Curley, a great grandson of Thomas Curley. The Curley family were all b. in the home place.

Bridget (Greenan) Curley was b. 1818 and d. 1885. Thomas (1. 1884. They had a family of seven children surname Curley.

2a Thomas b. 1847. He m. Annie Dunn. They had one daughter, Mary Jane, she m. Eddie McEntee of Emerald. They later moved to Richmond.

+2b Felix b. 1850. He m. Mary Murtagh, Freetown.

2c Phillip b. 1853. He m. Bridget Ellen Ranaghan and had eleven children. They lived in Summerside from 1879—89, and later moved to Bangor, Me.

+2d James b. 1854. He m. Margaret Hammill. They lived in Freetown.

+2e Patrick b. 1857. He m. Catherine Hammill, a sister of Margaret. They lived in Freetown, and had eight children.

2f Mary b. 1859. She m. John Sheol. They lived in Granville. 2g Anne Jane b. and d. 1861.
