3d 2d Rosella b. She m. Basil Sherry, Fernwood and lived in Albany where Basil was a farmer and butcher. Rosella d. at the birth of her first child, 12 May 1926. Her child also d.

+3b2d Alfred Curley

After Alfred and Ethel were In. they lived in Freetown on a farm adjoining his father James’ farm, this farm was owned by John Reeves, then Edgar Reeves, and now Junior Baglole, (see east side code 22). They then moved to Detroit Mich. where they lived for about five years, returning to the James Curley farm in 1928. Alfred hauled the mail for several years in addition to farming.

Alfred and Ethel (McKenna) had eight children surname Curley, four of whom survived birth.

4a 3b2d Roma b. 20 July 1918. She m. Joseph Mulligan, Kinkora. Nov. 1940. They have three children: 1. Aldonna b. 23 May 1943. 2. Austin b. 4 Apr. 1947. 3. Geruard b. 5 Nov. 1959. He is adopted.

4b 3b2d Wallace b. ca. 1921. He was killed in a car accident in Detroit, 26 May 1926.

4c 3b2d Ivan b. 19 Sept. 1923. Ivan m. Betty MacFarlane, Summerside. They had five children: 1. Ivan Jr. b. 13 Jan. 1949. He is stationed in the R.C.A.F. at Summerside. 2. Dean b. 3 Nov. 1951. He is stationed in C.A.F. at Dana, Sask. 3. Dianna b. 19 Apr. 1958. She m. Robert Stewart. he is in C.A.F. They are stationed in Lahr, Germany. They had two daughters: Darlene and Susan that are deceased. Darlene is bur. in Freetown and Susan is bur. in Ottawa.

4d 3b2d Austin b. 8 Dec. 1928. He m. Phyllis Gillis, Norboro, 25 Sept. 1956 and they now live in Ottawa. They have three children: 1. Dana b. 14 Aug. 1957, lives and works in Montreal. 2. David b. 31 Aug. 1958, lives and works in Montreal. 3. Shawna b. 11 Aug. 1961, lives and works in Ottawa.

+2e Patrick Curley Patrick took over the home place that was occupied by his father Thomas Curley. He farmed here all his life.

Patrick was b. in Freetown in 1857 and d. 1922. He m. Catherine Hammill who was b. 1864. She d. 1948. They had eight children, all b. in Freetown, surname Curley.

3a 2e Lucy Jane b. 7 July 1888. She m. Gervase McGaughey on 12 Nov. 1919. They lived in Kelly’s Cross until 1920. From 1920-24 they lived in Carleton. From 1924-31 they lived in Peabody, Mass. In 1931 they returned to Freetown where they lived for a year before settling in Norboro in 1932. They had
