+3c2c Edison Dammarell Edison took over his father Robert Will 's farm and continued farming until he sold it to John Heffell in 1946. Edison excelled in keeping good stock and was noted for his fine horses. As well, he kept his buildings in a good state of repair. Following the sale of his farm, Edison and Myrtle moved to Freetown village and bought the house and lot former occupied by Emma J. Reeves . They lived here until 1968. He m. Myrtle Burns of Freetown who was b. 22 Sept. 1882. They had one son Edison b. and d. 1910. Edison d. 27 July 1968 and Myrtle d. 15 Mar. 1975. They are bur. in Freetown People's Cem. + 2f William John Dammarell It is believed Robert Dammarell Sr. gave the farm (code 118) to William John about 1876. However, William John had moved to , Lot 35 and was farming there. In 1881 Robert Jr . took over this farm from William John and carried on the farm operation there, William John bought a farm from Joseph Baker in 1885, and then in 1904, he bought 100 acres from (code 111). William John b. 31 Oct. 1849 m. Eliza, a stepdaughter of James Drummond , b. in 1860. William John d. 12 July 1912 age 70 and Eliza d. 1905. They had four children, surname Dammarell. 3a 2f Ella b. 21 Oct. 1885 and d. 11 Aug. 1954. She m. G. Simpson Stetson who was b. 7 Apr. 1877 and d. 31 Oct. 1970. They had two daughters, Edith, Mrs. Martin Joe MacPherson , and Florence, Mrs. Orville Reeves . (See MacPherson and Reeves history.) 3b 2f Nettie b. in 1888 and d. 14 Nov. 1974, age 86. She m. Eustace Reeves and had one son Heath. (See Reeves history.) 3c 2f Gertrude Laura b. 1889. Shed. 1963. Shem.
