they lived in the small house at the plant until 1940. They moved to Kensington where Elva still resides. They had a son, William who m. Marilyn Bryanton. They had two daughters: Marla, b. 13 Oct., 1962; and Oralie, b. 15 Sept. 1966. William Sr. d. 2 July 1968.

ROY HILL

Roy was b. 21 Dec. 1894, at North Bedeque, son of Michael (1847-1924) and Hughina (Morrison 1858-1923) Hill. During the first World War, he enlisted with the 105th Infantry Battalion in 1915, and saw active service in France. He was wounded at Vimy Ridge. After the war, he bought a farm in Lower Freetown, purchased under the Veteran’s Land Act. He m. 16 May, 1923, Elizabeth (Tisie) Bell, dau. of Arch and Alice Bell, Albany. She was b. 10 Oct. 1894. In later years they retired, and spent their last days with their daughter, Laura, in Charlottetown. Roy d. 30 Oct. 1973. Tisie d. 24 Dec. 1978. They are bur. in Central Bedeque Cem. Children:
