Lewis d. on 20 May, 1964 at the Prince Edward Island Hospital. Marguerite then worked as a switchboard operator at the Confederation Center. Marguerite m. 2. in 1979 to Henry Christie and they currently reside at Almonte, Ont. Lewis and Marguerite had four children, surname Goff.

5a 4b3e2f George Ernest b. 21 Aug. 1937 at Charlottetown. He m. on 15 Feb. 1964 Marion Sanderson. They have two sons and reside in Toronto, Ont.

5b 4b3e2f Anna Norma Elizabeth b. 13 Sept. 1938 at Charlottetown. She m. on 8 Feb. 1958. Elwin Hammond Toombs. They have three children and live in West Hill, Ont.

5c 4b3e2f Lewis William Roger b. 2 Jan. 1940 at Charlottetown. He m. on 1 July, 1961 Ena Mae Chowen, They had two daughters and are now separated.

5d 4b3e2f Edyth Marlene b. 27 Oct. 1941 at Charlottetown; She m. on 25 July 1972 Sterling Wood and they have since divorced. They had no children.

+2h David Jardine

David was b. at the Head of Hillsborough between Apr. and Dec. 1831. David moved to Freetown with his parents in Nov. 1849. On 1 May 1858 he purchased 100 acres of land at Upper Freetown on the North Freetown Road (code 26). David built a house on the property and began the task of clearing the land.

He remained a bachelor until Dec. 1868 when he m. Adelaide Campbell, daughter of John and Ann (Rix) Campbell. Adelaide was b. 1 May, 1851 at Freetown. Adelaide and David had a family of eleven children, two of whom died as unnamed infants. Their children were all born at Freetown. Surname Jardine.

3a 2h Andrew b. Jan. 1870, m. Jessie Stavert, dau. of William Stavert of Kelvin Grove. They farmed at Central Bedeque where he died of a heart attack 2 July, 1923. They had one adopted child, Cecil MacQuarrie. His wife remarried to Rev. D.L. Griffiths and moved to Ontario.
