2h Benjamin Campbell Jardine Ben was b. 1 Nov. 1874. He m. on 5 Nov. 1902, Jessie Cairns, daughter of John and Myra (Crawford)
Cairns. She was b. 29 Jan. 1876 at Lower Freetown. After their marriage they purchased land at Wilmot Valley on the Taylor Road where they farmed. Ben d. in 1927 at Charlottetown at the age of 53. His wife d. several years later in 1956. They had seven children, surname Jardine born at Wilmot Valley.

3d2h Oren David b. 14 Nov 1903 m. Helge Andrea Thomson on 16 Nov. 1934. They moved to Eston,
Sask. where they farmed. They currently reside in Calgary, Alta. and they had a family of five children: David, Allan, Keith, Cecil, Emery.

3d2h Frank b. 18 Nov. 1905 m. 28 Dec. 1932 to Jennie Muttart of Carleton. They farmed on his father’s farm in Wilmot Valley and later moved to Wilmot. Frank was a director of the Amalgamated Dairies Ltd. Summerside and a director of the Prince Edward Island Federation of Agriculture. He was a Liberal MLA for 4th Prince from 1962 to 1978. Frank d. on 19 Aug. 1981 at Summerside. They have
one daughter, Beulah Joan.
3d2h John Austin b. 30 Nov. 1906; m. 16 Jan. 1940 to Kathleen (Kay) Harriott of Windsor, N.S. Austin graduated from Pine Hill Divinity College in Halifax, NS. in 1937. He received his Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary in New York in 1939. Austin has served as United Church Minister at Kingston, N.S., Tryon, Aylesford, N.S., Fredericton, N.B., St. Stephen, N.B., Bermuda, Harvey, N.B., Shelborne, N.S., Cavendish, Summerside and Parkdale. Austin and Kay had one son, David, and one daughter, Patsy, and currently reside in St. Stephen, N.B.

3d2h Annie Elizabeth b. 1 July 1914; m. 12 May, 1937 to Helge Peterson of Chelton. Annie and Helge farm at Chelton and have twins, a son and daughter: Lloyd m. Betty Reeves and Louise m. Hillard Bernard of Long River.
3d2h Eunice b. 22 Sept. 1916; n.m. She worked as a nurse’s aide in Halifax and Toronto. She d. at Toronto on 30 Sept. 1978.

Annie was b. at Upper Freetown on 2 Oct. 1875. She m. Andrew W. Humphrey, a native of Kelvin Grove. He was b. in Apr. 1867 in Lot 19. They farmed at Kelvin Grove where they resided until Andrew’s death from appendicitis on 7 Oct. 1906 in Charlottetown. Annie was left with three children under the age of five. The family remained at Kelvin for several years, and Annie later retired to Kensington, where she resided until

eath there on 4 Nov. 1965. Their three children, Adelaide, Robert and Thomas were b. at Kelvin Grove.
3e2h Adelaide b. 9 Nov. 1901 and m. 23 June, 1936 to John William Barbour a native of Albert, Albert Co. N.B. Adelaide graduated from Dalhousie University with an MA degree. She then taught at Prince of Wales College, Charlottetown. She also taught in Kelvin Grove School, Kensington School and Mount Royal College at Calgary, Alta. John is a retired United Church Minister and has ministered at congregations in New Brunswick, Quebec, Manitoba, Nova Scotia and P.E.l. They currently reside at Quispamsis, N.B. and they had two sons; Robert and George.
3e2h Robert Scott b. 23 Apr. 1903 m. 30 Jan. 1924 to Jennie Vesta Simpson, dau. of William George and Janie (Profitt) Simpson. Robert excelled at fox farming and show horses at Kensington. Robert and Jennie also operated the Bungalow Court Tourist Cabins in Cavendish. They currently reside in Kensington where they raised four children: Andrew, Norma, Elaine and Marion.
2e2h Thomas James b. 26 Sept. 1904. m. 16 June 1932 to Anna Louise Sheen, dau. of James H. and Amanda (Davison) Sheen of Indian River. Thomas received his BA. degree from Dalhousie University in 1927 and after a spell of farming with his brother he proceeded to Pine Hill Divinity College, Halifax, NS. He was ordained as a United Church Minister and had congregations in Bermuda and Nova Scotia. He returned to farming in Kensington from 1938-1960 and in Jan. 1961 began to work at the Charlottetown Bible Society Bookstore. They retired in 1974 to their home at 24 Park St., Charlottetown. Anna d. on 25 Nov. 1978.
