5e4a3g2h Cynthia Ann Jardine Cynthia was b. 4 Dec. 1957 at the Prince County Hospital in Summerside. She attended Freetown School,
Athena Regional High School and graduated with a B.Sc. in home economics from University of P.E.I., Charlottetown in 1979.
Cynthia was m. on 16 Oct. 1982 at Kensington, to Garth Roy Frizzell, son of James Roy and Sadie (Smith) Frizzell of Glen Valley, Garth was b. 29 Dec. 1955 at Charlottetown. Garth and his father operate a dairy and swine farm at Glen Valley. Garth also performs custom grain combining as well as operating his woodlot. Cynthia was employed as a food service supervisor at the Prince County Hosptial, Summerside prior to her marriage and remained in this position until July 1983. Garth and Cynthia attend Pleasant Valley United Church where they are both members. They have two sons, surname Frizzell.

4b3g2h George Gerald Jardine
Gerald was b. 19 Sept. 1922 at Freetown and spent his first years growing up on the family farm and attending the local school in Upper Freetown. Gerald was interested in sports and played hockey with the Freetown Royals. In Sept. 1940 Gerald obtained a position with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce at Souris. In 1943 Gerald joined the Royal Canadian Air Force and became a pilot officer. In Oct. 1944 while stationed in England, Gerald met and m. Jacqueline Mary Jones who was b. on 6 Aug. 1923 at Lower Garth, Wales. Prior to the end of World War II, Gerald served in England, Scotland, Iceland, Egypt and Kenya.
After the war, Gerald and Jackie returned to Canada where he returned to the employ of the Bank of Commerce. He served this bank at Parrsboro, N.S., Montague, Yarmouth, N.S., Amherst, N.S., Murray River, Campbellton, N.B. and Moncton, NB.
Gerald also had a major interest in some Dixie Lee Franchises in New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island and was also involved in Elmer’s Pizza Ltd. in Charlottetown.
Gerald d. at Moncton, NE. on 26 May 1973. His wife survived him and m. 2. Michael Lewis and they reside at Moncton, NB.
They had three children, surname Jardine.
5a 4b3g2h Susan Yvonne b. 9 May, 1945 at Somerset, England. She m. first David MacLeod of Charlottetown in June, 1966. They had one son Scott, and then divorced. She m. 2. Scott MacIsaac and they reside with her son at Moncton, NB.
5b 4b3g2h Paul Douglas b. 13 Mar. 1950 at Parrsboro, N.S; n.m. Paul is a lawyer and investment dealer who resides at Halifax, NS.
5c 4b3g2h Garth Gerald b. 1 Oct. 1952 at Yarmouth, N.S. He d. of leukemia, 15 Aug. 1971. He is bur. in Moncton, NB.
+3i2h Robert Sim Patterson Jardine
Robert was b. at Freetown on 25 Sept. 1890. He attended the local school and graduated from Prince of Wales College in 1907. In 1909 Robert entered the banking business with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce in Summerside. He remained at Summerside until 1912 and then served at Belleville, Ont., St. Thomas, Ont., Port Stanley, BC. and in 1915 at Winnipeg, Man. In the spring of 1916 he enlisted in the field artillery with the Canadian Armed Forces in World War 1. He remained with the army until 1919 when he returned to P.E.I.
He opened branches of the Bank of Commerce at Morell, in 1919, at Kensington, in 1920. He later
transferred to Halifax, N.S., Stanley, N.B., Star City, Sask., Summerside and in 1940 was appointed manager of the bank branch in Charlottetown.
Robert m. Margaret Julia Ratchford, daughter of CE. Ratchford, Amherst, NS. 23 June 1926.
Robert retired from the bank in 1950 and then began an insurance business in Charlottetown known as the Jardine Adjusting Agency Ltd. He was an elder at the Kirk of St. James Church, Charlottetown.
Robert d. 20 Feb. 1966 at Charlottetown and his wife Margaret also d. at Charlottetown in Jan. 1975. Robert and Margaret had four children, surname J ardine.
