Christopher m. 2. Abigail Bears (born 1853), dau. of Benjamin and Sarah Abigail (Smith) Bears of Brooklyn. After their marriage they moved to Belle Creek and Brooklyn, Lot 59, where they operated a farm. Abigail d. in 1926 at Brooklyn and is bur. in the Church of Scotland Cem. Christopher then relocated to Freetown where he d. 22 Dec. 1931. Christopher and Abigail had the following children.

4d 3c2c Caroline b. 18 Sept. 1881 at Brooklyn; m. John S. Livingstone and resided at Murray Harbour. She d. 9 June 1979. One dau., Evaline, resides in Murray Harbour.

4e 3c2ยข Benjamin b. 2 July 1882 at Brooklyn; m. Jessie Priscilla Thompson. 4f 3ch James William b. 28 July 1883 at Brooklyn; m. Georgia Anna Bruce. He d. 2 July 1956.

Jack Jardine was b. at Brooklyn, Kings Co. on 8 July 1887, the son of Christopher Jardine. Jack moved to Freetown prior to his marriage to Florence May Cummings of Darlington, in Nov. 1919. She was the daughter of Malcolm and Isobel Cummings.
