5c 4a3a2h Jennie Isabel b. 14 Feb. 1950. Isabel took a Medical Technologist Course in Charlottetown and graduated in 1971. She worked at the Provincial Laboratory, also at the Hospital in , B.C . and Women's College Hospital, Toronto , Ont. She now works in Charlottetown . She is involved with church work at First Baptist as Assistant Clerk and helps with the Pioneer Girls. Her interests are needlework and bird watching. She is a member of the P.E.I. Natural History Society. + 4c3a2h John Ronald Graham Lewis Ronald attended Rothesay Collegiate School, N.B. He became very active in sports. He was on the N.B. All Star Rugby Team for two years; captain of the Hockey Team which won the Championship in 1955; cap¬ tain of the Football Team and Major of Rothesay Cadet Corp. He spent three summers at Aldershot Camp and was voted the most outstanding cadet in 1955. He won the Duncan Hewitt Memorial cup. He was chosen as one of a Hundred Best Marksmen from 80,000 army cadets from 600 Cadet Corps across Canada . Ronald went to Moncton Bible School and graduated in 1956. He spent a year at home, then moved to Charlottetown . He worked with different financial institutions. He m. Ruth Louise Yeo , daughter of John Wendell and Jean (MacWilliams) Yeo. Ruth was b. 27 Mar. 1939 in Charlottetown . Ronald is with the Civil Service Commis¬ sion, Provincial Government . He has served on the Advisory Board at Holland College Business Dept .; was a member of the Budget Committee for ; campaign manager for West Royalty for the Equipment Fund for Q.E. Hospital. He is a member of First Baptist Church, Kiwanis and Masons. Ruth works with Hospital Services Commission. They live in Charlottetown and have three ch. surname Lewis. 5a 4c3a2h Cynthia Elizabeth b. 23 Oct. 1961. 5b 4c3a2h Lori Jean b. 7 May 1963. 5c 4c3a2h Haley Ruth b. 17 Sept. 1964. + 2 i William Lewis Will was b. 24 Sept. 1858, in Freetown . As a young man he worked in the woods in Maine, for a man by the name of Colby Chadburn Smith. Will thought so much of this man that he called his older son after him. Will m. Annabella MacNeill , dau. of John and Mary (Riley) MacNeill, Malpeque , on 7 Feb. 1894. He farmed on the Kinkora road (code 67), between the farms of Jonah and Joe, his brothers. He cleared a lot of the land himself. He was a man that loved the soil. They moved to the village (code 72) in 1925, to the home built by James (Jim) Holmes. He was gifted with a sweet tenor voice and could sing any part. He liked to teach young people how to sing harmonies. He used to start the singing at church services and funerals. He played the violin for concerts and social gatherings. When the Lewis boys started up their music, they were sure to be the life of the party. No doubt this gift of music was part of their Welsh heritage. He was a member of the Central Bedeque Baptist Church. He d. 25 Aug. 1943, and was bur. in Central Bedeque Baptist Cem . Annabella was b. 15 Dec. 1862; her son, Colby , was b. 15 Dec. 1894; and her grandson, Edwin, was b. 15 Dec. 1926 exactly 32 years apart between the three generations. There was always a big celebration on their triple birthday. She d. 19 Nov. 1954; bur. in Central Bedeque Cem. They had two ch. surname Lewis. + 3a 2 i Colby Chadburn b. 15 Dec. 1894 m. Elsie Mae Holmes . 3b 2 i James Buskirk ( J.B .) b. 24 Aug. 1897; n.m. J.B . was b. and educated in Freetown , attended Prince of Wales College, and taught school for 30 years. He taught ten years in Freetown School, also taught in South Freetown , Lower Freetown , Tryon , Spring Valley and Searletown . He was well known in the district for his tenor voice, and was a member of the Bedeque Baptist Church and Choir for many years. He sang many solos at church services, weddings and funerals, and often helped make up a quartette, as the lead tenor. He lived most of his life in Freetown village in the home built by James (Jim) Holmes. He d. 13 Nov. 1980; bur. in Central Bedeque Cem. + 3a2 i Colby Chadburn Lewis Colby was b. 15 Dec. 1894, in Freetown , and from an early age farmed the home place. He m.
