After Leslie was married, he and Joan worked on his fathers farm in South Freetown and her parents farm in Lower Freetown , and also worked in Summerside . Margaret Joan Johnston McCarvill , daughter of Thomas Harold Johnston and Genevive (Hammill) Johnston of Bedeque , Dunk River . She was brought up from the age of 15 months by her Aunt Katie and Uncle Russell McCarvill as their daughter. She was born 6 July 1933. She is attending U.P.E.I. specializing in psychology. 6e 5g4a3b2f Darryl Joseph b. 5 May 1966. He is attending U.P.E.I. taking a course in business. + 4d3b2f Russell McCarvill George Russell McCarvill spent his early years on the family farm in Emerald . In 1920 he bought the Judson Burns farm of 70 acres in Lower Freetown (see east side of code 58) from Major Moase . He farmed until Katie died in 1967 when he sold the farm to Norman Reeves . In 1968 he moved to the Kinkora Senior Citizens home. In May 1977, he moved to the in Summerside where he died 30 July of the same year. George Russell was b. 20 Dec. 1893 in Emerald . He m. John took over the farm after his father Francis II had passed away. He farmed on the homestead all his life. John m. Susanna Murphy , dau. of Patrick and Mary Ann (McGuigan) Murphy of Newton.
