to the house and outbuildings. The main barn has been dismantled and moved away. He has planted many trees including an orchard.

Mr. Mile belongs to a religious group that does not take any denominational name. They believe that the workers go forth in faith without any visible means of support. Services take place in the home every Sunday morning and they follow the belief that they have the right to the teaching that Jesus left with us

in His Word. Each summer a Christian Convention is held at Mr. Miles home when people from over P.E.I., N.B. and NS. and other parts of Canada and the United States attend.

Mr. Mile grows an extensive garden and has been renting his land to Alfred Baglole each year.

Mr. Mile was b. 16 Feb. 1908 at Kennedy, Sask. In 1937 he moved to Smithers, BC. In 1942, he moved

to Terrace, B.C. He stayed there until he came to Summerside 21 Oct. 1972. On Nov. 8th of the same year he settled in Freetown.

He has three daughters living in Terrace, B.C.

HENRY MILLER

Henry was b. in Denmark. He came to Freetown in 1930 and worked for Mrs. Douglas Iardine for seven years. He learned to speak English after he came. He m. Dell Arbing, dau. of Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Arb- ing, Freetown. He enlisted in the army in 1939. They live in Huntsville, Ont. No children.

ROBERT DARRACH MOASE

Robert Darrach Moase, a son of Robert Thomas and Lucy (Burrows) Moase, purchased a farm in Freetown in June 1914. He was one of a family of eleven children.
