2a Percy b. 21 June 1905. He m. Margaret McEntee, Emerald. Percy worked with Mayne and Sinclair Potato Dealers for six years in Emerald before going with Simmons and MacFarlane Ltd., with whom he was employed for almost 40 years. Margaret was postmistress in Emerald for 34 years. Percy and Margaret (McEntee) Murphy had three daughters: 1. Joan b. 19 June 1931. She m. George Green, Searletown, 4 Aug. 1953. FELIX JOHN MURPHY I

According to the 1861 census Felix leased 50 ac. of land in Freetown, Lot 25 (code 84) and later held

54 ac. (code 84) by fee simple. He also had 50 acres in South Freetown (code 95).

Felix was b. in Kileevin, County Monaghan, Ireland in 1816. He m. Susan Shreenan about 1844. She

was also b. in Ireland in 1827. Felix d. 6 Sept. 1884 and Susan (1. 21 Apr. 1885 at 58 years.

Felix John and Susan (Shreenan) Murphy had fourteen ch. all believed to have been b. in Freetown,

surname Murphy.
