+3d2d Joseph T. Reeves

Joseph T. Reeves and his wife Eleanor Penrose Dyment lived in Muddy Creek, near Union Corner, then they settled in Lower Freetown (code 53) where his father Thomas resided. Joe was a farmer and also a well- digger and a brickmaker. He made the bricks that were used to build Holmans store in Summerside and the RC. Church in Mt. Carmel. (See brickmaking, chapter 4.)

Joseph (1. in Lower Freetown, 13 June 1945. He m. Eleanor Dyment of Tyne Valley. She was b. 1857 and d. 17 Oct. 1928 in Lower Freetown.

They had eight ch. all born in Muddy Creek and surname Reeves.

4a 3d2d Sarah Jane b. 22 Aug. 1883. She m. Sidney Stowell, 27 Nov. 1907. He was b. 10 Apr. 1883 and d. 25 July 1964 in New Bedford, Mass. She d. 19 Dec. 1952 at New Bedford. They had two children: Helen May b. 19 Nov. 1910. Jaine Reeves b. 1 Dec. 1912. She m. Lester Bumpus.

4b 3d2d Frank Sawyer b. 20 Mar. 1885. He m. Millie Blackmore of Middleton, 4. Oct. 1906. She was

b. 12 Aug. 1887 and d. 28 Sept. 1964 in Alta. Frank (1. 24 Jan. 1955 in Edmonton, Alta. They had two children, Frank and Clayton.

4c 3d2d Henry H. b. 12 Oct. 1888 and d. 5 July 1969. He m. Pearl (Fraser) Page, 23 Mar. 1922. She was b. 30 June 1891. She had two sons: Muncy and Harvey. Harvey was adopted by Henry.

+4d 3d2d Walter Scott b. 14 Jan. 1890. He In. May Hannah Snowie, 30 Mar. 1916. She was b. 12 Sept. 1897 and d. 27 Feb. 1971. Walter d. 12 May 1981.

4e 3d2d Charlotte m. Frank Giles and they lived in Salem, Mass. They had three children: twins, Harriet and Harris, and Virginia.

4f 3d2d Elizabeth Eleanor b. 19 Apr. 1894 and d. in Regina, Sask. 30 Apr. 1963. She m. William Cudmore, Freeland, on 19 Nov. 1913. He was b. 23 Nov. 1893. He and Libbie moved to Regina in 1917. They had two children: Marion Bernice and Fred Richard. Libbie d. 30 Apr. 1963.

4g 3d2d Edward James b. 13 Dec. 1897. He m. Alice Bertha Jones in Biggar, Sask. 29 Nov. 1922. She was b. 15 Jan. 1898 in North Dakota. They had four children: Raymond, Ruth, Mearle and Reginald. Edward James d. 6 Mar. 1980.

+4h 3d2d Frederick b. 13 Dec. 1897 and d. in RC. Hospital, 29 Nov. 1969 from injuries received in an automobile accident at North Bedeque.

+ 4d3d2d Walter Scott Reeves

Walter lived on his grandfathers farm (code 53) and then moved to Holliston, Mass. He returned to P.E.I. and settled at Ross’ Corner where his son, Lorne, resides in 1985. He was a farmer and later bought a farm on the North Freetown Road (code 6). His son, Lloyd Eric, resides in the house in 1985. The land has been sold to Wendell Bernard.

Walter and May (Snowie) Reeves had fourteen ch. surname Reeves.

5b 4d3d2d Florence Eleanor b. 28 Aug. 1917 in Summerside. She m. Gerald Lester. They were divorced in 1947. Eleanor is employed in St. John, NB. She has two boys: Gerald David and Ronald Wayne.

5d 4d3d2d William Seaman b. 31 July 1921 in Lower Freetown. He m. Glenda Broome and resides in Summerside. They have one dau., Wendy Nadine b. 4 Sept. 1951.

5f 4d3d2d Dorothy May b. 28 Jan. 1925 in Holliston, Mass. She m. Hubert Clifford (Pete) Harrington in Waltham, Mass. in 1953. He was b. 16 June 1927 in Sudbury, Mass. They have no children.

5g 4d3d2d Henry Roger b. 31 July 1926 in Framingham, Mass. He m. 1. Helen Lowther and had children: Vivian, Donald and Diane. m. 2. Christine Demko, they have one child, Roger Michael.
