Goulding Robert resided on the Drummond Road (code 113). This farm was owned by Richard Toombs, and later by Thomas Drummond. Goulding was a good farmer and had a nice set of buildings.

Goulding Reeves was b. 12 Oct. 1898. He m. Iva May Gulliver of Newcastle, N.B., 14 Aug. 1929. She was b. 12 Apr. 1911. Goulding d. 27 May 1968.

JOSEPH RICHARDS Joseph Richards resides in South Freetown in a house belonging to John Emery Mulligan in 1984. Joseph is employed part time with Cavendish Farms and his wife Judy is employed with P.E.I. Potato Services, Albany.

Joseph Richard was b. 2 Oct. 1953. He was a son of Alex and Hilda (Doiron) Richards of Kinkora. He m. Judy McMurrer. Her stepfather was Melvin Dugay and her mother was Mary McMurrer, Albany, P.E.I. Judy was b. 23 Oct. 1956.

Joseph and Judy have two children. 2a Judy b. 13 Dec. 1977. 2b Stephen b. 6 Oct. 1980.

FRANK RILEY

Frank moved to Freetown after the World War and m. Hazel Jane Murl. They lived in a small home north of her father’s home. For details on ch. see Murl history.

JOSEPH RILEY

Joseph Riley came to Freetown after the First World War. He worked by day’s labor among the farmers. He was employed with Darrach Moase for several summers hauling clay from the railroad to reclaim a swamp on the farm with a horse and cart, he also worked for a considerable time with Davis, and later his son, Everett Schurman.

Joseph was employed at the cemeteries for several years digging graves and cutting the grass. He received $2.50 for digging a grave and cleaning it up. He was the janitor at the United Church and the Birch Grove Hall for years.
