Walter E. was the oldest son of Edmund and Bessie (Andrews) Stavert and was b. in Wilmot Valley. He in. Mae Glover, dau. of Frank and Dorothy (Mills) Glover, Kelvin Grove. Walter is a progressive farmer, has a fine herd of Pure Bred Holstein cattle and carries on a successful milking operation. His family, both boys and girls have been active and enthusiastic 4H Club members and have been successful both in showing and judging competitions. Mae has been an employee of the PE]. Department of Social Services. They

reside on the farm.

Walter and Mae (Glover) Stavert have six children.

2c Gail b. 25 July 1951 at Prince County Hospital. She attended school in Lower Freetown and Summerside. She m. Donald Thompson, Kensington, 29 July 1972. They have one son Jeffrey.

Gail Stavert was the P.E.l. Dairy Princess and appeared at the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto where she competed with other Dairy Princesses across Canada. She attended meetings

and activities of the RBI. Dairyman’s Association as guest speaker.

2c Marvin b. 2 Feb. 1953 at Prince County Hospital. He attended school at Lower Freetown and Summerside. He m. Sandra Farris, Wilmot Valley on 20 Aug. 1977 at Freetown Presbyterian Church. She was b. 2 Feb. 1954. They have one son, Marvin b. 26 Sept. 1978. They reside in Lower Freetown west of the Old Malpeque Road on Rt. 8 (code 49). Marvin is employed with Campbell and Burns Ltd. and Sandra is employed at the P.E.I. Mushroom Plant.

2c Brian b. 5 May 1954 at Prince County Hospital. He attended school in Lower Freetown and Summerside. He is a carpenter and resides at home.

2c James b. 23 Feb. 1956 at Prince County Hospital. He attended school in Lower Freetown and Summerside. He trained in Regina, Sask. to become a Royal Canadian Mounted Policeman and is now stationed at Whitehorse, Yukon. He m. Bobbie Mitchell 29 Aug. 1981 and have one son Ronald b. 1 July 1983.
