She is studying commerical design at Holland College. 2. Carol “Leanne” b. 3 Oct. 1968, attending school. 3. Sharon Lynn b. 6 Jan. 1970, attending school.

Thomas and Rose (Waugh) Taylor had seven ch. surname Taylor and b. in Freetown. 4a 3be William m. Mabel Walsh in U.S.A. in 1906. He d. Apr. 1925.
4b 3be Leslie m. Amelia Stegmuller from US. in 1920. He (1. Oct. 1945 in New York. William and Leslie formed the Taylor Importing Co. in New York, and imported beautiful fabrics from France for the retail trade.
4c 3b2b Albert b. 1880. He m. Mabel Thompson, Charlottetown in 1913. She was b. 1887 and d. 1942.
Albert (1. 1928. They lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma, US. His only son William was a journalist, and present- ly resides in Charlottetown.
4d 3be Roberta b. 1875. She m. William H. Newcombe, and lived in Boston, Mass. They had one son Leslie. This family made many visits to Freetown through the years.
4e 3be Daniel S. d. at 1 yr. 11 months. +41" 3be Charles D. b. 8 Aug. 1876. He m. Anna D. Jardine, Freetown. They had one child, Roberta.
4g 3be Lucius b. 1883. He was known as “Cy” and was handicapped. He d. 30 Aug. 1951. Cy lived with his brother Chum.
+4f3b2b Charles D. “Chum” Taylor
Chum stayed on the family farm, and purchased the southern part of his Uncle John’s farm. Churn built a new house, and moved the old house to a site on the south side of the main Freetown Road where Ernest Taylor resided. In 1985 it is owned by Wendell Taylor. Churn sold his property to Mr. and Mrs. John Paynter in 1948 and moved to Summerside, where he spent his retirement.
Chum m. Anna Jardine 25 Dec. 1912. They had one dau. Roberta who m. John Forbes of Bedeque now of Summerside. Roberta d. 11 Aug. 1985. They have one dau. Janet who m. Capt. Felix Peters, Claren- ville, Nfld. Janet is a school teacher and has one dau. Adrienne Merideth b. 12 May 1984. Chum and Anna made a home for their nieces Hope and Doris Jardine following their mother’s death in 1914. Doris d. June 1975. Hope, Mrs. Frank Cameron, lives in Halifax. Her ch. Keith and Faye also live in Halifax.

He lived on the farm on the Old Malpeque Road (code 126) where they farmed. Henry was also a carpenter and in 1969 when the United Church in Freetown was being renovated, a grand nephew, Basil Taylor uncovered a board on which the name, “Henry Taylor” was written. The church was built in 1862.
Henry and Annie McPhee had four ch., surname Taylor, b. in Freetown. 4a 3c2b Henry at an early age moved to New York. 4b 3c2b George (Little George) apparently stayed on the farm for a time.
4c 3c2b Katie. Little is known about her except that she was present when the business was processed about ten years after the death of her father.
4d 3c2b Gulielma b. 1859. She m. Elias Tompkins Wright, Middleton. He d. 1909 and Gulie d. 11 Sept. 1950 in Charlottetown.

“Chum” bought in 1911 or 1912. John (1. at the age of 34. His widow Jane. and dau. Margaret Jane. with the help of Jane’s bachelor brother, Henry Jardine, carried on until the farm was sold. Jane d. 1909.
