4b 3d2b Margaret Jane b. 1859; n.m. She stayed on the farm until 1911 or 1912. Then she moved to Mt. Stewart where she d. 1943. A communion table to her memory has been placed in Freetown Presbyterian

Church.

4c 3d2b Johnetta b. 14 Sept. 1861. She In. W. Cameron MacLauchlan and lived in Mt. Stewart. She d. 19 Sept. 1948. They had six ch.: 1. Frank b. 27 Aug. 1895 and d. 12 Aug. 1943 at Wintrop, Mass; n.m. 2. John Robert b. 3 Nov. 1896. He m. Katherine Howatt. He d. Mar. 1953 at Wintrop, Mass. 3. Lina

Jane b. 1 Dec. 1897. She m. Vance MacEachern. She d. Apr. 1936 at Wintrop, Mass. 4. Etta Margaret b. 24 June 1900 at Head of Hillsboro. She m. William Freeman. They had one dau., Laura Jane m. Tom Walsh. They lived in Canton, Mass. Etta and William are both deceased. 5. Amy Isobel b. 17 Nov. 1902 at Head of Hillsboro. She m. 1. George MacKenzie. they had nine ch. George d. and Amy m. 2. Walter MacDonald. They live near Boston, Mass. 6. Arthur Blair b. 9 Jan. 1905 at Head of Hillsboro. He m. Marion MacKenzie. She was b. 1909 and d. 1984. They had a dau. Ruth m. Floyd Mosher, Morell Rear. + 3f2b Peter Taylor Peter purchased the farm in Freetown from George Crosby, code 40. This farm is owned by Robert Jardine Sr. and Jr. in 1985. Peter Taylor also owned other parcels of land in Freetown (code 71 and 132). He farmed all his life.

Peter and Charlotte (Scott) Taylor had eight children all b. in Freetown.

+4d 3f2b Charles m. Mary Beairsto b. 20 May 1880. They had four children.

4e 3f2b Euphemia m. Judson Burns, Lower Freetown east (code 58). They had five girls and four boys before they sold their farm and moved to Sask. The family all went west except Lottie, who stayed with her Uncle Charles and later m. J. Elton Cairns. (See Burns and Cairns history.)

4f 3f2b Sarah Ann b. 1832. She m. Edmund Crosby. She d. 24 Feb. 1899 act. 67. (See Crosby history.)

4g 3f2b Elizabeth (Tisie) m. Joseph Lewis. They lived in Freetown on the Drummond Road (code 112) in 1985. Lowell Drummond lives on this property. They had three daughters, Mattie, Sarah (Sadie) and Hazel. (See Lewis history.)

4h 3f2b Lottie Bly b. 1884. She m. John Andrew Jardine 30 Dec. 1903. Bly d. at New Bedford, Mass. 17 Oct. 1914 and was bur. in Kensington People’s Cem. (See Jardine history.)

4i 302b Alma b. 1885; m. 1. Mr. Arno; m. 2. Judson Burns (after her sister Euphemia died). They had four ch.: Hubert, Louella, Iona and Robert. She m. 3. Mr. Taylor of Loon Lake, Sask. Alma d. 8 Oct. 1974 act. 89. +4d3c2b Charles Taylor Charles took over his father’s farm (code 40) after his death. He sold the farm to George D. Jardine in 1911 and then entered the mercantile business, known as Auld and Taylor, in Freetown. He built a new house in the village. He was active in the church and other community activities. Later, he sold his interest in the store business and the home, and moved to BC. to go into the lumber business.

Charles and Mary had four children, Ruby, Eva, Maria and Atwood. They were all b. in Freetown and moved to BC. with their parents.

+3g2b Caleb Taylor Caleb owned the farm on the east side of the Old Malpeque Road (code 48) later purchased by John and Allison Profitt and still owned by their descendents. Caleb d. 2 Nov. 1930 aet. 96 and Eliza d. 29 Nov.

1922 aet. 91. Caleb and Eliza (McPhee) Taylor had five ch. surname Taylor and b. in Freetown.

4a 3g2b William Bruce m. Fanny Huestis. They resided on code 65 on the main Freetown Road, where Edward McMillan lives in 1985. Bruce was a carpenter. In 1912 he moved to Vancouver, BC. and entered
