The name, Stalworths, with its implied.surness and strength, seems particularly appropriate for Kinkora at the beginning of this century. Sure in their identity, and enjoying the profits from their own, and the past labor of their ancestors, they may just have believed the words of Prime Minister Wilfred Laurier,

that the twentieth century belonged to them.
