Progress of the troop and pack was reviewed by Scout- master Sheldon Jay and Cubmaster Ed Tupper. The District Com- missioner, Hugh Lowry, of Marshfield spoke on the benefits of Scouting; he was thanked by Gordon Ellis. Grace was asked by Cub Lorne Lawson and the toast to the fathers was proposed by Cub Jack Kipping and responded to by Harry MacLauchlan. The toast to the memory of Lord Baden Powell was proposed by Troop Leader Donald Ellis. The toast to the Women’s Institutes who are the sponsors of the troop and pack was proposed by Scout Blair MacLauchlan and responded to by Mrs. Bruce Ellis, chairman of the group committee.
