Apart from the farms aforementioned, a number of people own summer residences elsewhere in the community, i.e., James and Dorothy Goodwin with a 4-acre cottage lot on the Stanhope East Road on the former Edward Douglas property; David Jay with the former Alexander/Kielly home and 16 acres of land on the same road; and Don and Kay MacAulay who recently purchased the FitzGerald home on Parson’s Creek Drive, and spend their summers here.
