Parks Canada - Joe Hickey He worked for Charles Burt , who operated a lobster factory on the shore of , just below his farmhouse (later Kiloran Lodge). Celestin, known as "Sid", also worked for Charles Earle , who was a fish buyer. Sid also fished out of Covehead Harbour , and captained the boat which hauled fish from Covehead to Rustico , where it was packed by the Portland Packing Company . Celestin married Rose Burt , daughter of Charles above, and when the Burt factory was eventually closed, the building was hauled up from the shore onto the Burt property, to be a home for Sid and Rose. This was in 1932, and the hauling was done by Sid, using a stumping machine. The factory building was enlarged and a hip roof added to make it suitable for a home; it is still standing on the , still owned by the Gauthiers. Sid and Rose worked as staff at Stanhope Beach Inn in the early 1930s, before Mr. and Mrs. Neil Gallant . The Gauthiers moved from Stanhope to Charlottetown in 1942.
