Covehead Road; and Edgar, who married Ruby Blondon. Ruby taught at Stanhope, West Covehead and Covehead Road schools; they had 7 children, the first 4 born in West Covehead, Where they lived in the house later occupied by Cassie Marshall, and the youngest 3 born after they moved to Edmonton, Alberta. Frank’s wife, Matilda, died in 1915, and he later married Helen (Abbott) MacKinnon, widow of Robert MacKinnon; they had one son, Ira, who lives in the above- mentioned house, with his aunt, Cassie Marshall, until she moved to the Provincial Home for the Aged at age 90.

Of Robert and Cordelia’s other children, Art married Martha Irving and lived in Charlottetown; Walter married his cousin Cassie Douglas; and Ida married Coles Bell and they had four children. To return to Louis and Katie Belle Marshall, they had three children:. Warren, who is married to Marion Brown, and lives in the Marshall home (originally Henry Lawson’s) with his sister Margaret (Bea). The second son, Horace, married Edith Court and lives at Stanhope Corner, in the house previously owned by the McCabe family and built by John MacLennan Ross, a noted carpenter. Horace and Edith have three daughters: Heather, married to Bill Cameron, living in Stanhope with three sons; Donna, married to Brian Bolger, living in West Covehead with one son; and Janet. They have two sons, Lewis, married to Darlene Cameron and living in Winsloe; and Bobby. The last generation of Marshalls is represented by Lewis and Darlene’s son Robin Don, born in 1980.
