Sister Mary has served as General Councillor and as Treasurer General of the Congregation, as business manager and as hospital administrator, and presently holds the position of Treasurer in the chancery office of the diocese of Charlotte- town. Sister Mary resides at Mount St. Mary’s.

Sister Mildred MacIsaac

Mildred MacIsaac, daughter of John MacIsaac and Josephine MacDonald, Cherry Valley, entered the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Martha October 11, 1947 and made her perpetual profession July 24, 1954. Sister Mildred has been engaged in the teaching profession in Prince Edward Island and in Ontario, and is at present a member of the General Council of the Sisters of St. Martha and director of the forma-

tion program at St. Martha’s Convent in Charlottetown.

THE ORDER OF ST. JOSEPH

Mary E. Edmunds, daughter of John D. Edmunds and Mary Lannon, was born on April 30, 1875 and entered religious life in 1902 and made final profession on August 22, 1910, taking the religious name of Sister Aloida. She was engaged in the teaching profession in various places of

the USA. and died at Providence Retreat, Buffalo, New York on Jan- uary 4, 1936.

Winnifred Edmunds, daughter of John D. Edmunds, and Mary Lan-

non, was born on April 28, 1882 and joined the Sisters of St. Joseph on Nov. 1, 1902 and made final profession on August 22, 1910 taking the name of

Sister M. Nunilo. She taught school in Rochester, New York. She passed

to her eternal rest on March 9, 1960 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Elmira, New York.

Amelia C. Edmunds, was a daughter of John D. Edmunds and Mary Lannon. Her name in religious life was Sister Gertrude. She taught school in various centers in New York and is now deceased.

Mary Annie Lannon, daughter of Thomas Lannon and Catherine Keoughan, was born on November 16, 1870 and entered religious life on August 2, 1894 and made final profession on November 21, 1901 taking the name of Sister M. Febronia. She taught in various schools in the USA. and died on June 13, 1911 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Rochester, New York. O
