The MacKay History states that: William MacKay (1800—1888), who was born in Erribol, Scotland, was a carpenter and farmer who lived in various places, such as Kildare and Alberton. He was the son of John and Ann (Calder) MacKay, of the Mill River Rd. William would be an uncle of Donald Daniel “Bush” MacKay, who married Eliza Clark’s daughter, Eleanor. If this is the same person, he was twice married.
