HENRY SQUAREBRIGGS Jr. (1840 - Oct. 26, 1930)

m. Oct. 9, 1867 THERESA ANNIE BINNS (1847 - Apr. 6,1922) Records show Annie’s last name was “Quinn” on some state— ments, and “Binns” on others. Henry died in Bridgetown, PEI. The family burial plot is in The People’s Cemetery, Charlottetown.

Henry was a Sea Captain and a Master Mariner. They lived in the village but Henry was one of the family who sailed the Squarebriggs vessels with the imports and exports trade. The early Census records show the Squarebriggs families in various locations across the Island. Included are such places as Montrose, Alma, Lot 56, (Kings Co.), Pinette, Sturgeon, and Charlottetown.
