JOHN and his wife, ISABEL MacRAE PICKETTS, purchased Lorne and Janie MacEwen’s property when they retired to Margate. Actually, Lorne and Janie purchased John and Isabel’s smaller home. John and Isabel put in a crop for one season, but decided to move back to Margate. They were fortunate enough to be able to purchase a larger home for the family. Isabel still lives there today.
