Vital Statistics : 1946-1950 90 D. At the home of his daughter, Mrs. Chester Walker Georgetown , June 14, 1946, John Stewart , retired C.N.R . brakeman, in his 81st year. He was born in Marshfield , P.E.I , and early joined the railway service, receiving the medal for long service. He was a resident of Georgetown for many years. His first wife was Margaret Glover of Georgetown who predeceased him in 1929. In 1930 he married Jennie Murdoch of Pictou, N.S. who survives him. Left to mourn, all by his first marriage, are Benjamin H. Stewart , Georgetown ; Blanche ( Mrs. Chester Walker ), Georgetown and Howard of Boston also a number of grandchildren; also surviving are a sister, Bertha ( Mrs. Fullerton ), of New Hampshire , Alex of Mount Stewart and Peter of Marshfield .
