She was one of the town’s most active women in community and church affairs, including the Women’s Institute, Red Cross, Catholic Women’s League and the Georgetown Community Welfare League. She was convenor of the Georgetown Citizens Rehabilitation Committee after World War 11. She leaves to mourn besides her husband, a son Michael. Jr., of Georgetown and daughters: Catherine and Mary (Mrs. William Prosper). Georgetown; Josephine (Mrs. Henry Deveaux) Springfield, Mass. and Flossie (Mrs. Patrick Lasure), Springfield, Mass; also 19 grandchildren and 4 great— grandchildren.
