D. At Georgetown, Sept. 22, 1976 Arthur Leo McSwain, aged 53. He was born at Oyster Bed Bridge, P.E.l., served with the Royal Canadian Navy in World War 1 1, and after the torpedoing of his boat spend some time in hospital. He worked on loading potato boats in Georgetown. He was keenly interested in sports and was a member of the Georgetown Eagles hockey team. He also served as president of the Lion’s Club of Georgetown. Left to mourn are his wife Evelyn Batchilder, son Freddy, daughter Deborah, brother Clarence and sister Phyllis (Mrs. James McKeamey). D. On May 27, 1977, Mrs. Horace (Barbara) Parker, of Georgetown Royalty aged 84 years. She was born in Chicago, but spent her girlhood in Dickenson, North Dakota, where she met her future husband. After the war they returned to the Parker homestead and then to a farm in Georgetown Royalty. Left to mourn are two daughters and a son: Mary (Mrs. Colin MacDonald, Georgetown; Mrs. Florence Buchanan, Roseneath, and John, Summerside, P.E.I.. Also a brother in North Dakota. D. “At his home, Charlottetown, June 20, 1977, Stephen Scully, formerly of Georgetown.” He was born in Souris, June 30, 1911, son of the late P.A.Scu11y, M.L.A. and Mary Ann Maclnnes. Early in life, he worked with his father at the Hughes Store in Georgetown, also as a road builder for the P.E.I. Government. He enlisted in the P.E.l. Highlanders on Sept. 1, 1939, rose to the rank of corporal and was recognized for distinguished service. After the war he farmed, then worked for the federal government. Left to mourn are his wife, the former Eileen Sullivan, two sons and a daughter: Charles in the Canadian Forces, Barrington, N.S.; Tommy at home; and: Elaine (Mrs. Frank Vander Aa.), Montreal ; also surviving are brothers and sisters: Gerard, Halifax; Adolphus, Charlottetown; Lucy (Mrs. Edward Hynes), Souris; Agnes (Mrs. Alec Arsenault, Georgetown; Geraldine (Mrs. Walter
