He was born in Georgetown , P.E.I. , and after graduation from Mount Allison University and other colleges, and after teaching for a time at Pictou Boys' Academy and serving as pilot in the Royal Flying Corps in World War 1, he became accountant for the Dominion Experimental Farm in Kentvillle, N.S. serving for 35 years. He is survived by two daughters; Frances Dyer , Dartmouth, N.S. ; and Patricia Keeping , , Florida and ; also grandchildren and great grandchildren.
