As I Remember Them
I am now reading books on world history of about 1000 years ago. This causes me to wonder what is there in Little Sands that will survive for the next 1000 years? In my opinion the thing that will still be present in the next millennium is a tombstone made by John Campbell for his son, who was drowned in the English Channel many years ago. Little that is not stone will survive the passing of time. I have still another question: Where were the early French settlers buried who once lived in Little Sands?
Had I written this history when I was younger and not 88 years old, no doubt my memory would have been better for the task.
