There have also been two ice cream parlors in the Village of St. Peters at Van‘ous times, The first ice cream parlor was owned and operated by Mrs. Minnie Doyle, out of the house commonly referred to “Jay‘s House” Which is located at the base of the Bay Hill. The parlor, which was her Idea, was located in the front room of the house. Her husband suffered frOm asthma and often was not able to work in his blacksmith shop and deliver the mail, which were his two main occupations.
