foxes anywhere in the world, the reason being that the fur was of excep- tionally good quality, beauty and lustre. All the foxes in the ranch were said to be of similar quality. The ranch was located on the farm of Mr. William Ensor, about one half mile from Ellerslie Station. Mr. Ensor was the caretaker of the ranch.
At some time prior to 1916, the W.B. Hayes Silver Black Fox Company Limited was formed, with Head Office of Company, Bideford, PEI. The Directors were: C.S. Millar, President; Frederick England, Vice-President; R.C. Hayes, Secretary-Treasurer; Claud Williams; E.S. Barleigh; A.A. MacCaull; John Brooks; A.B. MacDoagall; and Edward MacKinnon.
