Leith Irving Hayes (1888—1959), son of Robert and Ella, married Mina C. MacNevin (1891—1974). They lived in Bideford and had four children: Vera, Bruce, George and Orell.
W.B. and Perezza Hayes later lived in the Hayes home in Bideford, which
had belonged to William and Bethia. Clifford and Elsie Hayes lived there
before making their home in Tyne Valley. It was then owned by Mr. and
Mrs. Leslie Morrison, and later by their son Clifford. It has since then, been torn down. Evergreen Lodge, an apartment building for Senior
Citizens, has been built in its place.
