To The Marshfield Maple Leafs

Here’s to our gallant Maple Leafs Our lads who are always gay Who said they were going to win the cup When they started in to play.

Earl took his place in the net And turned the puck aside When it came at him from all over the ice The front the back and the side.

Hector and Heath our husky defence Did the work well too

And piled the Red Wings up in heaps

Each time they tried to get through.

Eddie, Joe and Donald

The forward line were they And shot the puck into the net and said it was only play.

(Left to Right)

Alfie, Lea and Lorne Were the substitute forward line

They could always hold the Red Wings down

And never had to do time.

Percy Gay was the referee And handled the game very nice If the players did anything nasty

He hurried them ofi the ice.

Victor Williams, he was the coach And a very fine coach was he You could hear his voice most all the time Giving orders as loud as could be.

So here’s to our smiling Maple Leafs Our boys who are always gay They have the cup, they said they would When they started in to play.
