Properties and People Property Transactions for Tulloch Farm Accompanying this description of the Tulloch Farm property now owned by Irving Boswall is a diagram with various sections of the property labeled A through to E. This diagram allows the reader to follow the various combinations and separations that have occurred to the property since 1767. In 1792 Hugh McCormack leased the bulk of what now forms Tulloch Farm from Sir James Montgomery . The lease included what is identified in the accompanying diagram as properties A through D. This lease is recorded in Liber 15, Folio 199. In 1803 the title of Lot 34 passed to James and Robert Montgomery by inheritance. From an unrecorded date until 1808, Laughlan Mclssac leased E plus what is currently known as the George Webster property from James and Robert Montgomery Liber 17, Folio 359. Peter Stewart Sr. on July 2, 1808 acquired the lease from the Montgomery's of property E, recorded in Liber 24, Folio 72. At the same time Peter Stewart Jr. acquired the lease on properties A through D recorded in Liber 17, Folio 359. Neil Stewart inherited the lease on Property E from Peter Stewart Sr. in 1836. Property B was inherited from Donald Ferguson by Elizabeth Ferguson on September 21, 1909, Liberl8, Folio 226. On June 24, 1929 in Liber 127, Folio 787 the transfer of properties A plus D from Henry Boswall to his son Lyle is recorded.
