James and Annie MacAusland had three children: -Leslie did not marry -Clarence did not marry

-Helen married Edgar Palmer and had one daughter, Evelyn.

The original house was destroyed by fire. The kitchen section was removed fiom John Colwill’s

house and moved to this farm. The original school in Northam was located on this property. A section still had traces of the Post Office that was in the John Colwill house.

Rustin MacNevin married Margaret Murray, daughter of Alexander and Penrose (Yeo) Murray of Harmony. Their first two children were born in Northam, they then bought a farm in Cascumpec and had two more chihdren:

-Stella married William Campbell of Alberton, where they live and have three children: Irwin, Roger and Gary.

-Doris married Henry Smith and has two children: Karen and Kevin. -Joyce married Eldon Hardy, lives in Summerside, and has two sons: Glen and Brendon-

-Allison married Evelyn Strongman of Port Hill. Evelyn has two children from a previous marriage.
