Montreal. He served in Caledonia, Nova Scotia, and the rest of his ministry was spent on Prince Edward Island serving congregations at Belle River-Belfast (1937-1943), Bide- ford (1944-1945), Breadalbane (1946-1954), and Wellington (1955—1975). It was during his ministry at Wellington that he served as supply minister for Lot 16. When he retired in 1975, Rev. MacPhail went to live in Charlottetown. He died on December 5, 2000 at the MacMillan Lodge where he was a resident. He was a quiet man, held in high respect by his people and the church. People in Lot 16 remember him as a won- derful visitor. He was buried in Cornwall United Church Cemetery, Prince Edward Island
