The Carr (Alan and Ken) boys introduced me to their huge dog, who never accepted my ministry. Whenever he would see me, he showed his teeth, and what threatening teeth! The (Ken) MacLean girls were always something to behold. Henrietta and Clara Yeo went shopping one evening. They couldn't come home without getting me a gift, and what a gift it was. Neady wrapped and sealed, I opened the parcel, and to my surprise, I found a small fishing rod with instructions, and a 'polka dot' bathing suit. Henrietta has never forgotten the expression on my face, and I shall keep my unspoken words forever to myself. Never trust women bearing gifts. When our oldest son, Paul, was born at Prince County Hospital, Alan MacFadden accompanied me to the hospital to be met by Henrietta and Paul. Seeing our son, Alan said, 'is that what babies look like?' Yes, Alan, they may look somewhat alike, but they definitely do not sound alike.
