the manager.
To show their appreciation the Farmers’ Institute requested that the secretary, W.A. McArthur, write a letter of thanks to the CNR for the early morning express and for improvements made to the cattle pens and siding at Elmsdale.
On February 20, 1928 WA. McArthur of the Dock passed away. He had been an active member of the Farmers’ Institute and for eight years its secretary. At the time
of his death he was president of the Egg Circle.
