April 15, 1925 Agriculturist - Mr. J .W. O’Brien of Elmsdale takes much well merited pride in his Colonel Aubrey. The Boston Globe commenting on the turf season in the Maritime Provinces has the following on his famous horse. “Colonel Aubrey owned by J .W. O’Brien of Elmsdale, PEI and driven by Col. D.A. McKinnon of Charlottetown, was the fastest performer of the year. He won in straight heats at Charlottetown, in October with every heat in 2:16 and a half, which time was not excelled by any performer in charmed circles.”

April 29, 1925 Agriculturist - Warning by William F. Quinn for people not to trespass on his farm at Brockton, not to cut wood or remove boards from windows of the dwelling.

May 6, 1925 - Eddie Haywood, now living in East Royalty, has his farm for sale one and one quarter miles from Elmsdale intersection, 86 acres, good buildings on the Dock Road.
