Rev. George Christie was the supply minister from Alberton from 1923 to 1925. In 1925 when the Methodists joined forces with the Congregationalists and the maj ori— ty of the Presbyterians to form the United Church of Canada, Elmsdale ceased to

have a Presbyterian Church. The organists were Sarah Jane (Horne) Rennie and Hazel (Weeks) Cameron.
