Camp Kildare in 1980, also went to a fall rally, served Easter sunrise breakfast,

western camp and other activities. In 1981 they went to winter camp at Augustine

Cove, had a Mother and Daughter Banquet, placed a wreath on Remembrance Day and held a Christmas vesper service at Elmsdale. The Bible study was on India and

included a visit by Dr. Prem Verma to show clothing, hand made articles and films

about her native country. The group visited the Manor quite often, playing games

and singing with the residents. In 1983 the group met again in Elmsdale United

Church with ten members. They went to 'a rally at Kensington, he1ped out with Bible readings during church services at Elmsdale and Alberton, and placed a wreath on Remembrance Day. They held bake sales in both communities. In 1984 they were still meeting at Elmsdale. They went for a sleigh ride and winter camp at Augustine Cove. Mission study was on Japan. They, sold mugs with the United Church crest 011 them, and visited the post office. In the fall they had a lecture and test on the history of CGIT. They went to the Aquaplex in Mill River and also had a Halloween partY- They placed a Remembrance Day cross and read the names of the war dead, and 21150
